These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Learn Scope 360 and establish our data protection and privacy policies under the Data Protection Act (DPA No. 3 of 2021). By using Learn Scope 360, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Learn Scope 360, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. User Accounts & Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and managing access to your account.
3. Freemium Model & Subscriptions
New users receive a 5-day free trial to sample questions across grades. Continued full access to study tools, mock exams, and analytics requires an active subscription (see the subscription page for current prices per grade or level) or valid activation code.
4. Educational Features & Disclaimer
Learn Scope 360 provides original, curriculum-aligned exam-style question banks, mock exams, active recall flashcards, and AI-powered study assistance. Learn Scope 360 is an independent learning platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ). AI explanations are designed for educational encouragement and supplementary learning.
5. Data Protection Act (DPA) Compliance & Privacy Rights
We process personal data strictly in accordance with the Zambia Data Protection Act (DPA No. 3 of 2021):
- Lawful Collection: Data (name, email, phone, birth year, learning metrics) is processed solely for delivering educational services, tracking academic progress, and account administration.
- Cross-Border Transfer: Account data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure located in the SADC region (South Africa) with explicit user consent.
- Data Subject Rights: Users have the right to access, edit profile details, export their complete structural data archive, or permanently delete their account and personal data at any time via Profile Settings ("Right to be Forgotten").
6. Children’s Use & Parental/Guardian Consent
In compliance with DPA requirements for minors, children under 18 years old must register with parent or guardian authorization. Parent/guardian details and explicit consent are captured and logged during registration. Parents retain full authority to manage or request deletion of their child's account data.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, quiz questions, curriculum study notes, software code, branding, and visuals are the exclusive intellectual property of Learn Scope 360 and protected under applicable copyright laws.
8. Account Termination & Inactivity Policy
Learn Scope 360 reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Inactive accounts with no login activity for three (3) consecutive months may be permanently deleted to maintain system security and data minimization under DPA standards.
